Additional information supplied by Brian R Robinson, added to catalogue in August 1997. Robert Lorraine, who was a well-known actor, took a Farman biplane to the 1910 Blackpool Meeting. He flew un.d.er the pseudonym of `Jones' but his real identity was widely known. He made one particularly notable flight to Rhos on Sea and Anglesey from Blackpool and subsequently crossed the Irish Sea.
