Martha Harrison, then widowed, died of stomach cancer at home aged approximately 62 years in 1923. Home for both women in 1922 was with their family at 342 Heaton Road, Manningham, Bradford, Yorkshire (a back to back house). Mother and daughter were possibly enjoying a 'day trip' to Blackpool. Lucy Annie Harrison was born 9 February 1896 at Carr Lodge, Horbury. She died 15 November 1982, aged 86, of bronchial pneumonia at Solihull. She was employed as a warp dresser at Messrs Lister & Co., Ltd., Manningham Mills, Bradford, Yorkshire. This was traditionally a skilled man's job but was increasingly undertaken by women during World War One.
