Memorandum dated 10 May 1776. The bond from Mr. Byrom of £250 was paid to Mr. Brammel, Mr. Woodworth and Mr. J. Howard, Churchwardens, for the use of the poor in the year 1775. (See M3/2/52, 44 and 36). A bond for £20 from James Clough of Manchester being a legacy left to the poor by Mr. R. Bent - see the inside of the bond a clause of the will, which money was paid by Mr. Tipping to the Churchwardens and Overseers in the year 1776. Bond itself missing. M3/2/58A. is part of its wrapper
