File contains papers discussing the Society's stance on union representation for its staff. This was a result of Tanllwyfan's staff members joining the National Union of Public Employees (NUPE). This caused the union to want official recognition by the Society, which was subsequently refused, due to the number of staff being members of NUPE not making up a large enough proportion of the Society to warrant representation. File contains papers regarding trade unionism and two Memorandums of Special Meetings on the 18 October 1979 and 29 January 1980.
