IHOS Opera was formed in Hobart in June 1990 by composer Constantine Koukias and production director Werner Ihlenfeld.Using Tasmania as a basis for the development of new music theatre works, IHOS Opera brings together singers, actors, visual artists, instrumentalists and production staff from across Australia,usually performing in vast warehouse spaces.
