Starving Artists Theatre Company comprise American Mark Pinkosh and Londoner Godfrey Hamilton. Founded in 1983, the company was first based in Honolulu. For their first decade, Starving Artists was the only company in the State of Hawaii presenting alternative and fringe theatre. Starving Artists brought their show 'Never Before Seen Familiar' to the 1998 season, presented at the Green Room from Thursday 7-Saturday 9 May. Mark Pinkosh had an accident prior to the festival which meant he was unable to perform and all the roles were played by Kathryn Howden.
