For queerupnorth's 2000 season, Mem Morrison returned to Manchester with his new show 'Lilac', directed by Mark Whitelaw. 'Lilac' was Mem Morrison's exploration of a photographic and personal past tinted and tainted by colours, memories and unbidden imaginings. The show was presented at the Green Room on Wednesday 6-Thurday 7 September. It had previously premiered at the Oval House Theatre in London from Wednesday 1st-Saturday 18 December 1999.
