Sadness', a monologue with slides, was presented at the Green Room on Sunday 12 May as part of the 1996 season. The show documents the journey in which he rediscovers his Chinese heritage and comes to terms with the deaths of his friends through AIDS. The video contains excerpts from the show and concludes with Australian footage of quilts made in memory of those lost to AIDS and other slides used by William Yang in the show.
