The Arena Theatre Company creates contemporary live performance specifically designed for children and young people aged 5-25. 'Panacea' was of the most spectacular, controversial and confronting events of the 1998 Melbourne Festival. 'Panacea' was inspired by the true life story of Jorg Sievers, a 13 year old East German swimmer who died after being fed steroids by his coach.
