Subject: This volume is produced under the aegis of the Chinese Heritage Centre in Singapore, by over 50 scholars and writers based in Asia, Europe, North America, Russia, Australia and Africa. The editor was the founding Director of the Chinese Heritage Centre. The Chinese diaspora has been created by diverse histories, traditions and experiences, which have been modified and enriched by transplantation to other continents and civilizations.
