Summary:
James Franco directs and stars in this comedy based on the novel by Steve Erickson set in 1969 Los Angeles and which follows Vikar (Franco), an architecture student who decides to explore his interest in film. Working on Hollywood film sets, Vikar meets editor Dotty (Jacki Weaver) and asks her to mentor him. However, soon Vikar becomes obsessed with the production process of film and makes an astonishing discovery. The cast also includes Megan Fox, Seth Rogen and Dave Franco.
