Topical Bollywood drama that examines the social and political uproar caused by Communist groups in India. 'Naxalites' is the collective term applied to the variety of Marxist groups that operate throughout India, many prepared to use violence to defend their beliefs. The groups draw on a strong base of support, with their accusations that the Indian democracy takes care of the rich and neglects the poor finding resonance among the common people. When two friends, Adil (Arjun Rampal) and Kabir (Abhay Deol), find themselves drawn into the escalating conflict on opposite sides, their trust and ideals will be pushed to the limit.
