Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode star in this drama based on the play by Mark St. Germain. During the onset of WWII, famed Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud (Hopkins) invites C.S. Lewis (Goode) to his home to engage in a debate about the existence of God. As Lewis shifts from atheism to Christianity, Freud attempts to persuade Lewis of the futility of religion, while Lewis encourages Freud to embrace his faith. The cast also includes Liv Lisa Fries, Jodi Balfour and Jeremy Northam.
