When Daniel Brennan (Gurney) is released from prison on probation after serving time for killing his childhood friend Ray (Ace Mahbaz), he wants to reconnect with his daughter Carly (Lara Peake) but he also wants revenge. Meanwhile, Ray's widow Christine (Duff) wants answers from Daniel even as her boyfriend Stephen (Eddie Marsan) tries to get him recalled to prison. When long-held secrets come to light, will Daniel be able to overcome his past or will it destroy his chance at a future with Carly?
