1576/3-7 inclusive are photographs which were mounted in a small booklet. Mr. Johnson was headmaster of St. Cross School and these are all school groups for the year 1925. On the first page is a label which is inscribed in manuscript: 'With compliments from' and then reads: 'Singles - Postcards - Enlargements. R.S. Parker, Photographer. 19, Oakfield Grove, Gorton, Manchester. Late photographic section, College of Technology, Manchester'.

Mrs. Fagan was born in 1914. Her parents were William Arthur Johnson and Laura Carr. William and Laura Johnson had six children, 4 boys and 2 girls. They were: Bill, Frank, Charlie, Jessie, Alf (killed in war) and Laura (donor, born 1914). Mr. Johnson came from Yorkshire in the early 1900's to Manchester where he was head-master of St. Cross School, Clayton from 1903 to 1930. The school was attached to the Church wi which the family had a close association. Before her marriage Laura Carr was a school teacher in Hull.
Mrs. Fagan married in 1935 and had 7 children.
