This organisation attempted to regionalise the Central Council of Refugees and co-ordinate the refugee committee efforts. The Council was organised as follows the Executive Committee consisted of 12 members & 2 ex-officio members and met once a month. The Council had roughly 37 members and met quarterly with one of these meetings being the Annual General Meeting. A Council Representative also attended the meetings of the Regional Welfare Committee. Mrs Barash was the representative for the North Western Regional Council on the Regional Welfare Committee. The North Western Regional Council of Refugees was designated as Region 10 within the regional structure. For details of the Regional Councils aims and functions see M533/2/4/1/1.
