Mrs. Sutcliffe was born in 1911 in Sale. She worked for the Refuge Assurance Company. She has been a member of the HF since 1930 but now rambles with the CHA - Altrincham. She has four diaries written by her father (1891-1899) detailing his holidays to various parts of the British Isles with friends. She is now compiling a similar file on her own holiday experiences.
