Lantern Slides Related To A Local Scouting Troop

A collection of lantern slides featuring a local scout troop. They illustrate various aspects of scouting activities including the building of headquarters (1921), parades, camp, jamborees, displays, cricket matches etc. The slides date between 1919 and 1924. A majority have some identification written in manuscript on the edge bin.d.ing. Only two edges of the slides are taped which suggests the work of an amateur enthusiast. This means that the slides need han.d.ling with care. This is particularly important since many of the slides are badly cracked or spintered.
