Gordon Boys Home, Plymouth Grove (1888-1891)
Gordon Boys Home was a separate property to the Refuge, which housed boys that had been convicted of felonies as an alternative to the main jails. The home was managed by Alex Devine who attempted to rescue boys who were in trouble for first offences. Registers that remain cover the years 1888-1891 when it disbanded due to financial reasons and work was taken over by the Refuge.
Includes, Registers and papers relating to the Home's closure.
