Tina C' is the comic creation of writer and performer Chris Green. 'Rhinestone Cowgirl' was an affectionate portrayal of 'white trash country music.' The show toured the UK extensively over 1997-1998, including appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe. The show was set in 'Tina C's dressing room before one of her huge stadium shows', as she shared her views on life in 'Trashville' and sang her best loved songs from her album 'Complete and Utter Country'. Tina C appeared in the Grolsch Festival Tent as part of queerupnorth's 1998 season.
